Why do you wear makeup?

Hey girls! So I know that everyone has different reasons for wearing makeup. Personally I wear makeup because I look at it like a form of art, and putting on makeup in the morning honestly feels somewhat therapeutic (weird ik) but I was just wondering what reasons y'all have for wearing/ loving makeup.

Personaly I started wearing make up because I had (and still have) a lot of redness and acne.
So I started getting more into it and now it feels (as some of you said before) it's therapeutic! it's 1 hour and maybe 30 minutes or so, that I can be alone and making myself look pretty and it is my moment! I like taking my time to finish because I really enjoy the whole process. And those are my reasons!!

Makeup is an art and fun, but honestly it also makes me feel more confident. I had non existing brows, uneven skin tone and dark under eyes. And I do believe when I do brows and apply concealer I feel better. (:

If I do a actual makeup look it's for more of a art thing and expression. I don't know why, I just love it. But from day to day when I don't have time a little foundation is a great way to cover my redness. Not even blemishes, just something to make me not look like a tomato.

There are so many reasons I use makeup! I feel more confident in myself, it's fun to experiment with, and it is really therapeutic for me. I just feel like when I'm down it's a way to pamper myself and make me feel good 😊

I do it because I like enhancing my natural features. I only wear bb cream, mascara, revlons lip butters, and blush so I'm a natural person, but I love how it just subtly enhances my skin/eyes.

I started out playing with makeup because it's fun and I wanted to express myself. The problem is it took me a long time to get good enough to actually do that. Yesterday I was at a restaurant and someone complimented my eye makeup. That has never happened, partly because I was either doing something so clownish and weird that it was best not to talk about it, or so subtle that it wasn't that noticeable.

I wear makeup because my entire life kinda revolves around school and homework and extracurriculars that I don't have time for art like I used to. Doing my makeup gives me a creative outlet each day =)
