Two quick questions! This probably sounds really stupid but when applying a liquid eye primer should I wait for it to dry before applying eyeshadow, or is the whole point to apply eyeshadow while the primer is wet?
Also, I usually use a beauty blender to apply foundation but I just bought a stippling brush (apparently the foundation I just bought works better with a stippling brush), and I'm not sure whether it's actually for foundation. If you girls could tell me that would be great.

I wait for my primer to dry and then place a skin tone eyeshadow all over the eye primer. I feel like it sets it and makes my shadows been easier. I don't really like applying foundation with stippling brushes because I find it gets streaky I would stick to the beauty blender. Or you could just try it and see how it applys.

I've seen people use stippling brushes for everything since there's different sizes: foundation, blush, bronzer. You should try it yourself see how.you like it. Personally I use it to blen my foundation better down to my neck just a finishing technique(:

I wait till it drys and I don't really use a brush bc I make my foundation look streaky so I find usen my fingers is best.

I apply my eye primer and set it with eyeshadow. My eyeshadow never crease when I do..
A stippling brushes primary function is really to add extra coverage on targeted areas, not to apply foundation.
Applying foundation with it will cause it to appear very streaky.

No question is stupid Lauren always feel free to ask ,Yes a stippling is for targeted areas and you stipple like you would do stippling paint on a wall or painting. To find out what that looks like go on and watch an actual Paint stippling video. Don't wipe or spread because it will give a wet mop look.I will share one of my own Makeup tips that I never shared here before, I personally have done this for years and is a complete fast way to seamlessly blend eye shadow with a quickness since time is important when completely a face,I use a small stippling brush Mac 130.Now you know when you add colors or layers and you're trying to blend them out with out over blending but also prevent it to look harsh? well by using a small stippling brush just to finish the whole look at once works perfectly because of the long thin hairs of the brush is like a mop/ broom it blends the colors with no fuss with ease together.

Thank you for answering, I will try setting the eye primer with a neutral shadow.
@Kitty K so should I apply my foundation with my blender as usual, then use the stippling brush on areas that need a little bit more attention?
@Alma M thank you, sounds silly but I never thought of checking out sime videos! Also thats a really good tip for eyeshadow application. I will try master the basic stippling brush first then look into getting one for eyeshadow application as I do tend to over blend, losing all definition lol.
Thanks for taking the time everyone!

If you are interested in a face brush for foundation I'd go with the expert face brush from the same brand you have.

I actually use that brush for blending all my face powders (blush, contour, and highlight) :) it's great for that like Alma said :)

I personally use my Real Techniques stippling brush for bronzer and cream blushers, but I've been considering trying it with foundation soon. It's a really great all rounder brush. Their buffing brush is amazing, too!
