I hate them! They're way overrated. I got a whitening kit from the freaking dollar store and it worked better than the strips, I actually saw a difference with the kit rather than the strips.

Teeth sensitivity after whitening is normal. I use sensodine toothpaste to help ease the sensitivity when whitening.

I've tried them twice, the first time was ok but the second time my teeth hurt so bad, so I stopped using them, if you feel sensitivity and pain stop using it.

Those kind of strips are not sold in any store here. It makes me wonder if it is healthy for your teeth? But yes, sensodyne could help protect your teeth in the future.

The first time I used whitening strips my teeth hurt really bad! I was scared to try them again but I did and I'm glad I did because they do not hurt anymore, I think your teeth just have to get used to them.

I cut mine down so that it ensures that they don't touch any of the gum line. I think that helps a lot. They really do work but it takes a while so it can be frustrating. I think using sensodyne also would help.

If you have sensitive teeth (ie it hurts to bite into something cold) whitening strips can do the same. It is temporary but they make less powerful ones that you use for longer (so you get the same end result) for people with sensitive teeth.

The same thing happened to me. The second try I timed it so I was sleeping when the pain was the worst. I've been wanting to try dial-a-smile because I've heard it works great.

If you wanna naturally whiten your teeth : 1.wipe the white of a banana peel onto your teeth and leave it on for 5 minutes. 2. Lemon juice and salt

Please do not yet and when your teeth using abrasives (baking soda, salt) or acids (strawberries, lemon, other fruits). You will damage your enamel, which is permanent and leads to sensitivity, makes you more prone to cavities, and fracturing.
Sensitivity after whitening is because the product is hitting exposed dentin/nerves. You may not be a good candidate for whitening procedures. Talk to your dentist and make sure your enamel is strong enough.

I used strips once. They stung the mess outta my gums. Now I just rely on my dentist...cleanings and his in-office whitening treatment.
