I've worked with fabric paints before and coverage can be kinda splotchy covering large areas, that's why I wanted to dye the shoes. I'll look at the dry cleaning option though.

Have you considered painting them with fabric/acrylic paints? I do a lot of diys and always use paints for canvas shoes. You can also seal the design by using a few coats of modge podge after paint dries. Gives a very professional look. :)

Most dry cleaners will dye them for you if you like.

So I bought some shoes for a cosplay ages ago and pulled them up recently. They're plain white canvas shoes and I wanted to dye them pink and paint a design on them in black. If I wanted an entire shoe a certain colour is dip dye a good way to go? I can find tutorial on my own and just I wasn't sure if I was going to use the right method.
