Jojoba Oil was one of my favorites for my hair... Some others are Argan, Coconut, Olive Oil, Grapeseed, etc. If you have curly hair the Shea moisture smoothie works amazing for frizz and definition.

Generally any oil will help since they weigh down hair... I usually apply when it's damp or wet and go back over for the fly always when it's dry. Oil masks definitely help as well!
I love blending a very top avocado with some olive oil and honey.

Thank you heaps! but the thing is- I've tired Morrocan oil and argan oil and that doesn't really work :/ same goes with coconut oil and olive oil masks.. I feel like there is something unique and different out there specially for my hair but I just can't find what it is!! :(

I believe I understand what you mean. My hair is similar to yours. If I don't use heat, it looks way to messy to
Leave it as it is, because it's way too frizzy. My hair is also really thick. Oils are a lot of fun to use, but I haven't noticed a big difference. What has actually made it look a bit more "organized" (not on wash-day one, of course!) is that I no longer use normal shampoos. I'm using a no-poo cleanser and it IS softer after a while. It is easier to style it. I also use a hair serum that I apply when damp. I hope this helps. I'll follow this thread. I'm curious to read more ideas.

I have the same problem, I went toy hairdresser the other day and told him, he said that its probably the shampoo I use may not be what my hair needs and the chemicals make my hair react that way..maybe if you try other brand or type?

@Mariana E @Eli F I have tried about 3 different proper shampoos in the last year nothings changed! and those were expensive brands... I might try the "no poo cleanser", but what exactly is it??

I'm using a shampoo indicated for curly hair. No, it won't make your hair curly, it's as shapeless as it is always been lol! The name is Deva-curl they have different products and I have the "calling all curls one"
I really like it. My hair is way softer. My scalp is happy. It takes time to get used to it. Since it is 100% sulfate, paraben and silicon free, It does not produce lather. And it smells like the ingredients they put in it. I wash my hair only once a week now (gross I know, but it really doesn't look dirty) I totally recommend it.
