I've never noticed hair dying make my hair grow slower. You can always use vegan dye.
But if it's really something you don't want, every time you see dyed hair remind yourself how great your hair will look once it's long and healthy (:

Having no money lol. but I guess that doesn't really stop me from planning hair colors for when I do have money haha. I just try to tell myself that I already look beautiful now so I don't NEED to change my hair. it also helps that my boyfriend is always telling me I don't need to dye my hair & that he likes me how I am.

I know you're trying not to dye it but it can still grow if you dye it just maintaing it healthy really. Theirs a hair dye I love to use because the base of it is argan oil and it makes it shiny, soft, and the hair dye is permanent. You can get it at Sally's beauty supply they hair dye is called One 'N Only Argan Oil Hair Color

I feel you. whenever I do start dying my hair it's like I can't stop. I get bored with my hair so easily.
