If I cut out wheat (fiber) my body would be a complete mess!! Yikes!!

Also cutting out entire food groups (dairy, wheat) without the supervision of your doctor is not a good idea. You have to make sure you are receiving adequate nutrition from other sources first.
After I developed lactose intolerance, I stopped consuming dairy completely. I've eaten healthy foods, junk foods, and everything in between (I once went several months eating only Top Ramen and bakery pastries because I got them for free and I couldn't afford anything else) and my skin has never changed.
There aren't any conclusive scientific studies linking specific food consumption to skin issues, except for allergies (hive reactions) and overall malnutrition, which won't be fixed by randomly eliminating some of the healthiest parts of your diet.

Acne is not always food related it's can be gentile or hormonal as well so while you make a valid point Ivanna I have numerous clients who are vegan and eat completely clean and have horrible acne so while eating right of course benefits most people food is not always the factor.

How are people saying stomach has nothing to do with acne? Do you guys even think before you speak? The things you put into your body, food, drinks, etc, has EVERYTHING to do with most acne problems Lol.

I have bowel issues and waiting for surgery. It has been an issue since I was a baby and got told it causes all sorts of problems. Acne, depression, bloating, Constipation, pain etc. I mainly have clear skin but with my bowel issues lately I have out breaks on my chin and forehead. My advice speak to a doctor and get their opinion. Speak to a dr Bailee d and I hope your skin clears up soon. Remember beauty is within :) Not skin deep. xx

Remember TRUE BEAUTY comes from within as well as the outer shell. beautiful mind + beautiful heart = truly beautiful body.

Sandra, there is a reason depression is called a silent killer. Most people who have depression are either in denial that they have this condition and won't tell anyone ( especially doctors if the person thinks their skin condition is related to themselves feeling blue), don't want to talk about having depression, or they maybe unaware of depression ( haven't been diagnosed). If a person desires clear skin over trying to fix their own thoughts they would try to get on the medicine either way.

I agree with Shelley.
I used to have issues with cystic acne and when I cut out dairy it helped my skin immensely.

Intestinal issues certainly have a role for some people when it comes to skin issues. If your liver is unable to kick out the toxins the good old fashion way...guess what...it will come thru the skin resulting in acne and other issues. Harlyn your response was totally unwarranted and inconsiderate as Bailee was merely sharing her personal experience.

Harlyn why are you telling her you don't believe her that's very rude and unnecessary and a lot of illnesses including skin disorders can stem from problems in your gut namely being constspated continuously it will definitely show on your skin and she is right you should work with your primary doctor as well as dermatologist acne happens for a lot of different reasons.
