I know you're not supposed to sleep on bras , but are braletts an exception? Are they made for sleeping? Do any of you sleep in them? Where did you get yours? And insight would be great!!

I'd say they're a good idea for bigger boobs because naturally as we grow older they start sagging and wearing a little support while sleeping is a good idea to reduce some of that in the future.

I'm only a 32 b, do they have support? Because I don't really want support just something that's cute and provides coverage

If you don't want to wear a bra but still want to be covered then of course you can wear a bralett instead:)

Why are you not supposed to sleep with your bra on? kus I always sleep on it?

I'd personally prefer to sleep with no bra on and just wear a light top in bed.

They are perfect for sleeping. They don't provide any support, just coverage. They are also so comfortable (especially the aerie ones).

It's mostly just a comfort thing. If you are comfortable sleeping in a bra, then it's fine

Ruby thanks for the info I was just lost for a second, but might have to try to sleep with out a bra to see if it feels better lol(:

Actually, there's no proven evidence that sleeping with a bra helps with keeping breasts perkier/from sagging. Sleeping with a bra is okay, but not advised if it has underwire as it can cause irritation and even cysts. You should only be sleeping, if you do, with something more for support like a sports bra or camis with the built in bras rather than your everyday bra especially if it's tight.

It's also been proven that wearing a bra more than 12 hours a day can increase the chance of breast cancer, I don't know for sure, but better safe than sorry.

Um I really don't think sleeping in a bra will increase your chance of breast cancer.

I just read a study on how it actually does contribute to cancer bc the straps constrict normal blood flow to your breast tissue. It's suggested that you massage your breasts when you take your bra off to increase the blood flow. If you still need some support though, bandeaus, sports bras, wireless, or something more breathable is better than a normal underwire bra.
Also, bra-less helps keep your boobies nice and perky! Bras make them lazy from holding them up all the time instead of your body holding them on its own :)
But, to answer your question, Codi, yes, I'd say a bralette/bandeau would be fine to sleep in :)

Everything Jessica said is true. You shouldn't sleep with under wire and tight straps because it makes the muscles behind your breasts weak. Thank you guys for your suggestions I will definitely be going to arie soon

I've always slept with my bra on, as have my mum and both my grandmothers. None of us have had cancer, so I don't believe any of that.
Regarding the question, sleep in what you're comfortable in. You can buy bras made for sleeping in, and I'm sure any bralet would be fine. Maybe a strapless one would be better just for comfort, but I'd give it a gi

Things that cause cancer doesn't mean that every person will have cancer from it. There are people who smoke 3 packs a day who never have lung cancer or throat cancer. But it still causes cancer. It's from the constricted blood flow
