Dying my hair extensions?

I know it's not recommended to dye your hair extensions but I just got new ones not too long ago and I don't want to buy more just yet. I have the Sally's brand and they are "espresso" almost black. I've tried bleaching my extensions before (my old ones) and it damaged them so bad that they lost some length (as I was expecting) I was wondering if there was a way to lighten my new ones? They seem to be very stubborn when it comes to lightening..

The problem with many hair extensions is that they are so processed, they are very frail by the time they're packaged. Also, if they're synthetic they'll fall apart entirely. The best option is to try and get lighter ones to begin with.

Agree with Megan. And sometimes certain company's will say it's 100% human hair but it'll be mixed with synthetic hair too so that could contribute to hair not lifting also.

I agree with the ladies. Sally's extensions can be cute as all Hell, but even the best of extensions take on damage when you process them. I worry you might wreck them if you lighten them. :/
