There is no such thing as being tumblr. just be you. dress how you wanna dress. if outfits you see on tumblr inspire you then get clothes that look similar.

@Alli it's a bit boho-y inspired and has elements of the mainstream idea of hipster I think (if that's what she's referring to)
I'd print off the pictures of style I like on tumblr and then decide what I like about them and get clothes that fit that criteria essentially
Tumblr seems to have a lot of people wearing Christmas sweaters, ugh boots and leggings

How to BE tumblr: Just be yourself and be confident. There are so many annoying girls on INSTAGRAM claiming to be "tumblr", when in reality they don't even understand what tumblr is. But if you really want to know, take pictures of Starbucks, pictures of you holding things: mascara, body lotion/wash, Starbucks,your camera, etc. Copy all the other "tumblr girls" out there, basically don't be unique at all.
How to dress like one:
Shop at stores like fresh tops and wild daisy.

I agree with those saying Tumblr is not a style. Tumblr is a collection of many different styles, interests and personalities. The style you want is going to depend on what types of blogs you follow. A tumblr style can be anything from very casual, androgynous, preppy, hipster etc.
For me, tumblr is a place where people don't really judge you because it's such a vast collection of different people. In that idea ANYtHING you wear would be a tumblr style because it's the unique reflection if you which is what tumblr is about.

I know what you mean by "tumblr style". I would describe the look as casual yet very pretty. Such as, you could wear something simple like leggings and a sweater and then do really pretty makeup an maybe curl your hair. :)
