You can blow dry it with mouse or tease it.

I use a volumizing most from Suave and I blow dry the top layer of my hair upside down.

Don't comb your hair for days. I do that all the time and my hair has gotten really full and looks thicker. Also blow drying hair upside down.

You can also apply a volumizing powder on your roots, or a good dry shampoo.
