No it doesn't hurt at all. Unless you actually suck the air out REALLY hard. Other than that no. Just gently suck the air out and you will only leave it on for 10 seconds or more if you want.

Welcome! And be gentle. If you feel that it's hurting or anything, I suggest to take it down a bit. It will tingle but that's because you're letting blood flow to your lips. Which isn't bad.
