MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2 Is Beautiful!!

I have been MIA for awhile and I checked to see if anyone posted about the new Viva Glam release before I posted this and didn't see any super recent threads about it so if its been talked to death please forgive me.

Today it released in-store and lil old me drove like a crazed fool from school to the mall clear across town on my lunch break to get these two. In my excitement I slapped them on just minutes prior to me teaching a freshman undergrad class. Since school started I've been keeping my makeup pretty understated since I'm leaving at the crack of dawn for a two hour commute to campus.

I absolutely love this lipstick!! It looks scary in the tube but when you add the corresponding lip glass it adds a completely different dimension to it. And I also bought a lip liner in current to do an ombre kind of lip effect. LOVE, LOVE,LOVE it!! Its going to be a great shade for fall.

I wish I took a picture of it before removing it for a sit down with my advisor. I'm not ready to shock the dept just yet...I'm doing that next month when my hair goes purple.

Have any of you ladies and gents picked up this duo yet? And if so, what eye looks do you have in mind to pair it up with?

Its a a very unique color Naomi. I can't wait to play it with other liners and see what kinda looks I get. Especially nightmoth. @Traci I love on you with that winged eye! I might need to try that first. ;)

I sure did get the gloss Traci!! It gives it such an awesome dimension. And then paired with MAC lip liner in current...at least for me and my skintone I'm in love with the combo.
