I know it sucks to have acne, I don't have a lot, but my few pimples are very angry and impossible to cover. /:
But I'd try KVD's lock it tattoo foundation, it's super full coverage. Most of my friends with bad acne use it.

The elf acne fighting foundation has very good coverage and actually did help fight my acne. and the best part ia that's it's only a few bucks so if it ends up not working, no big.

I hate my skin too :( I use Loreal True Match and the coverage is awesome for me. I have tons of red patches and acne scars plus I still occasional pimples and it makes my skin look pretty flawless. I recommend it :)

I know how it feels. I felt like crap about myself for so long and it sent me into a phase of depression...but I found a way to be confident anyway, and I wrote about it here if you are interested: bit.ly/18tXfNi
The only thing that helped me clear my skin was Accutane...it's a very controversial drug. It was either that or birth control. When nothing works for you, it's usually a sign of hormonal acne, which will only go away once your hormones are under control. There's nothing wrong with taking medications to help speed things along, especially after years of feeling like you are ruled by your acne.
In terms of foundation, I recommend Dermablend or CoverFX which are made doe this specific purpose. But like you were read, the goal is not to have clear skin and be like, "Ok, yeah, now I can finally be confident and happy." The goal is to be able to say, "I may have acne, but I am not my acne. There is more to me than red bumps on my face, however unsightly they may be. I take ownership of who I am, flaws and all, and I choose happiness and confidence in spite of all my insecurities."
Hope this helped! I know it sucks, just hang in there xx

Have you gone to the gyno recently?? My sister had the same case as you and it turned out to be that she had a serious problem (endometriosis). After the surgery her skin began to get clearer :D her acne was related to her hormones.
And you are beautiful, never forget that :)

Yeah I have the same problem, lots of pimples and scarring.. But I would say invest in a good primer so your skin is protected by the foundation and use Estée Lauder doublewear light or nars foundation and then go in with some concealer on places where the foundation didn't cover.

I'd definitely say KVD for full coverage! Also I love Revlon Colorstay:) Covers all my scars (and I have a ton)! Also, try MAC prolong wear concealer mixed in with a moisturizer and as a foundation! It covers amazing!

Demelogica clean start help with my acne..now I get maybe 2 a week versus more then I can count..and the demelogica skin perfect primer has a slight tint to it and helps fade away dark spots..it's something to look into! my dark spots are fading and I've used half of the tube..only problem is the prime doesn't keep me Matte I still need to blot throughout the day

Maybe you should try an Asian bb cream instead? I find that most foundations break me out, but bb cream actually makes my skin look better even after taking it off. Also, if you don't already have one, a clarisonic is a wonderful thing to invest in. It keeps my pores clean and limits breakouts to when I'm on my cycle. Unfortunately hormonal acne is really hard to treat :/ I try and use "herbal" remedies like drinking peppermint and honey tea :) I also use clay face masks to soak up the excess oil that my skin makes, and replace it with a good moisturizer :) good luck hun.

Skin is a struggle for many of us...and it's not just facial skin. Have you consulted a dermatologist, hun?

You're definitely not alone dear, the only thing that worked for me was switching to a more natural skincare routine, witch hazel as a toner, rosewater to remove my makeup, exfoliating with sugar twice a week and applying a clay mask afterwards. I definitely noticed an improvement when I stopped using heavy makeup, it's definitely difficult because you feel like you need the coverage but it will be better in the long term. Remember that our acne doesn't define us and you are gorgeous the way you are, people will be able to love us only if we love ourselves first.??
