Addicted to makeup

I think I'm addicted to face products. Like seriously. Anything to do with skin care and makeup. Expecially makeup. I can watch YouTube videos for hours and hours of makeup gurus. I spend most every paycheck all my makeup and I have lists and lists of products I want to try out. I just like trying new things out and experimenting what works best. Is anyone else like this? I'm so embarrassed.

- if I had the money I would have every single makeup product that's half decent - but still trying my best to get what I can

I go to a strict private school where no makeup is permitted (I still wear some but not enough for everyday people to notice it) so most of the time I am not wearing makeup so I try to restrain myself and buy less makeup and work on my skin and hair instead


But in a perfect world I would be addicted to makeup

Don't be embarrassed, I think most people on here are the same lol. I can watch YouTube for hrs as well on makeup tutorials and makeup collection and storage, I love those ones, but I do get slightly jealous too, and I also have a wish list of products as long as my arm which grows daily. You are definitely not alone :-)

YOU ARE NOT ALONE DEAR. I have exactly the same addiction - I call it a hobby though. I watch YouTube videos related to make up and beauty stuff. It's what I usually do before going to bed. I work really hard and splurge on my favorite cosmetics every week. my husband thinks I need help. lol... but he supports it anyway!

Don't be embarrassed! all of us have a beautylish account for a reason. because we love beauty! lol I absolutely love makeup too And also have a lost of new products I want to try but unfortunately I can't buy new products every paycheck. I have bills to pay, a daughter to feed and those things are priorities that will always come before makeup. but hell if I could I most certainly would! lol

Omg I am the same wayy. every time I go into any store like target, walmart, or anywhere that sells makeup, I always have to go look at it and check everything out and my boyfriend thinks I'm like the only girl that loves to look at makeup lol which is soo not true at all hahaaa.

You really don't need to worry about all I did today was read my Bobbi Brown book, watch youtube videos on different looks, do my make-up twice and research foundation and concealer palettes. Oh and look at everything Ben Nye has to offer. That's what my week usually consists of.
(I did take a break to clean the kitchen and cook dinner but that was mainly my day)

Same here! I love face products and skin care. anything from blushes, bronzers, foundations etc. although it is such a fun hobby for us makeup junkies I think there should be a limit. like first pay bills or spend on stuff you need. then save somewhat part of you check then what's left you can spend on makeup. I know it's hard believe me! but you will be more comfortable spending money on makeup.

I'm similar, but rather than being addicted in general I tend to latch on to an idea and become obsessed. In the past it was purple lipstick (tried every purple lipstick I could get my hands on), right now I have this sudden and damnable urge to go platinum blonde. Except that I am piss poor, so I would have to do it myself. And I have zero experience with bleach.

This is a problem... :P
