I've been obsessing over the dewy skin look lately. It looks so minimal and light for spring/summer. The thing is- my face is covered with acne scarring, discoloration and pores the size of Jupiter. Everytime I try the dewy skin look- it just doesn't look right since I need full coverage. Either my scars aren't fully covered or they are and I look like a complete cake face rather than soft and glowy.
So my question to you all is- can you have the dewy skin look with full coverage?
And what are your favorite dewy skin look essentials? I'm currently in the market for a new highlighter and bronzer. (For reference I'm an NC37- gradually getting darker as I tan)

I love Mac face and body! It's super dewy but not too dewy. And it has sheer to buildable coverage. I love it!

I totally understand your problem. I do find it hard to be dewy and have full coverage, BUT it isn't impossible. Try a full coverage dewy foundation. I recently bought the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and it gives a pretty glowy finish and it is full coverage so it covers all of my "issues". Nars Sheer Glow is another awesome one. It's a more medium coverage, but it is completely buildable. I definitely agree with the ladies above about an illuminating primer underneath foundation. Luminizers are also great for giving a glowy look. Lastly, if you don't have super oily skin, skip powdering where you don't need it. Powder can often ruin the appearance of dewy skin, so try just powdering undereyes and the t-zone if you can afford it. Highlighting/bronzer definitely helps too. Try products that are more shimmery or have some kind of sheen, as that will look more glowy than matte products. Lastly, they actually make dewy setting sprays! I believe NYX has one, as well as Lioelle, which is supposed to be incredible.

I actually really love the Loreal lumi primer! I put it under my Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation and then use it as a highlight because it looks so natural..

I've heard so many good things about the Loreal Lumi line in general... I've never been one for drugstore face products but I really may have to check this out. And thank you Cami. My friend swears by NARS Sheer Glow but she has flawless skin to begin with. So jealous. Wearing tons of makeup but trying to make it look like you have none in real life is such a struggle. Thank you ladies for all the suggestions.
