Self Tanning Towelettes Turned My Legs Orange.. Please Help.

Okay. so I wanted to give my legs a bit of color since they are white compared to the rest of my body, so I bought some self tanning towelettes last night and used then for the first time I woke up this morning and my legs look orange. the instructions in the box say to use daily. should I keep using them, will they look less orange ad they get darkeR.? please help me out with this I have never used taking products before.. thanks.

Did you shower today? Sometimes color is off after application and changes as you shower. If you have and are still orange, exfoliate well to lighten them for starters. If after exfoliation, you still dislike the color, skip moisturizing...which helps extend color.

Orange just gets more orange..so I wouldn't add any more color at the moment.
Did you get a color appropriate for your skin tone? You should always purchase self-tan products for the skin you have and not the skin you want. Therefore, if you're fair, for example, you should be using a self tanner intended for light skin. It's also a gradual process and so applying products with a light hand and a bit of patience pays off. You may have applied too much product. Before self-tanning, I always shower, exfoliate and moisturize to ensure even application.

Rozberry, I used one towel, I only did my legs. And I haven't showered yet.

Hopefully, the shower will lighten the color. I'd see how I look after that and then take it from there. Good luck.  :)

Exfoliate in the shower to get it off and try st tropez tanning foam. its the best! beautiful color, no streaking, looks natural, lasts a long time and will only make you as tan as you would get under natural sunlight. I swear by this stuff. just made my sister n law apply if for her wedding to even out her skin (she had bra lines) and she looks amazing and is so happy with the results.
