I know the lighting sucks and the photo quality isn't great but this is pretty true to real-life as far as the color goes... I can't get used to all the red/caramel tones in it all and would prefer something ashier and darker.
Should I stick with this color for a bit or go a little darker? I would love to see picture examples of any colors that somewhat match what I described, since I can't quite find any :p thanks!!

Personally, I would stay with the color you have now to let your hair rest from all the hair dye damage. Do some hair masks with coconut oil once a week and when your hair feels healthy and strong, dye it the new color you'd like. I'll look for some colors you might enjoy 😋

Kaitlin I definitely plan on doing some intense therapy before I dye again lol and I have that same picture!! I love that color, maybe just a smidge darker with some high lights!! :) thank you as well Cookie :) I'm used to my hair being darker shades/colors
