I have somewhere read. that some people put hair dye into their conditioners.
has anyone experience whith that? how well does it work? does it really cause less damage than it would when dyed ordinary?

I used to do it with temporary colors: blue, pink, purple... It helps the color fade slower :-) but
I don't think it would work with regular box dye.

I did it when I had lilac hair, but again, mostly to refresh the colour. It's also used to dilute unnatural colours/bright dyes (I used to dilute Directions Violet with conditioner to get pastel purple) :)

I mix my dye in with conditioner to keep my colour a bit fresher.. and that's how I dye my hair lilac. The reason I do it is to make the colour more pale and make my dye go further :)
