I think I have a bit of milia. I have small bumps on my face but they are the same color as my skin. What causes this? & how can I treat this? Thanks in advance ;)

Ok thanks. to be honest I know not much. what's the difference between a chemical exfoliator and a normal one?

I didnt know what milia is soo I looked it up online, it didnt give me any suggestion on how to cure it just treatments but does it look like this? said its mostly yellowish or white.

Yes kinda except I only have a few thankfully. I wonder if a spot treatment would help?? I didnt get much information when I searched it up either.

My best friend has/had milia and she used the neutrogena acne wash scrub ad I'm pretty sure that it has salicylic acid...

I have it! I've been battling it since I found out that it wasn't acne all this time. It's milia. Same as when babies get bumps in their face. It's just dead skin cells clogging up your pores. I don't know how it happens. The skin just can't exfoliate itself. But the only way to get rid of it is...
-dermatologist removes them (the big ones...if you have them. I don't)
-exfoliating

My Clarisonic has been working well for me with a gentle cleanser (Cetaphil.) The skin expert here Traci L. Recommends cleansers with AHA in it (it's an exfoliating agent) and Cerave.

Symone my face is doing the same thing as your in the left pic in the same spots my doct gave me some creams and THANKFULLY it looks like its getting better! what moisturizer do you use?

Yes. That's when I started to see results. Exfoliating is the key to getting rid of them. I don't do anything special at all. No fancy products but that Clarisonic does the work for me.

Though it took me 5 weeks to get to that point. My milia was going away but acne (which I don't get really) started coming as I was deep cleansing. It was the worst! That's the only bad thing with exfoliating. All the gunk comes up 🙈
