I am currently using a full coverage cream foundation. I want to use a setting powder over it. I like my finish to be mate. Should I use my brand's pressed powder or their mineral foundation? I like the idea of the mineral foundation, I'm just wondering if it would be overkill?

matte...not mate

Pressed powder is usually very highly pigmented and fuller coverage - so if that's the finish you want then go with the pressed - the mineral foundation will probably give more of a sheer finish.

It will look caky. I recomend a pressed powder in translucent but if you want a bit more coverage, use one which has colour. x
