I think it just depends, I personally like to shower in hot water. But sometimes I'll do cool water when it's hot. I'm also a runner so sometimes I have sore muscles and that's when I really turn up the heat.

Hot showers can dry out the skin and strip hair color but its what I prefer so I just use lotion daily and wash my hair no more than every other day while its colored.

I shower in hot water, but always rinse in cold water before I get out of the shower. That's just me, but rinsing in cold water will lock in moisture.

Warm water to soften pores and make it easier to get out dibre, cool water to harden them back, not to hot or to cold.

So really hot water will make your skin and hair dry out more, I try to have a hot shower however I like it, but when I'm washing with a lufa I change it to a warmer water and I always wash my conditioner out with a colder water it's supposed to seal the hair follicle

I usually make the water warm when I enter the shower then gradually turn it down. when I'm done I turn it to freezing and stay in for about a min. when I wash my hair I rinse it out with cild water. it makes it shinniet and pretty. I wash my face with freezing cold water. helps with the pimples.
