It really irks me when people talk about their makeup, and say it's subtle and 'barely' there, and then go on to try and talk down or make others feel ashamed of how much makeup they wear, as if they're in some way superior because they wear less/less 'dramatic' makeup.
What're your views on this topic, do you know any one of the sort?

I don't really have many girlfriends, so when this DOES happen, I notice right away and it is annoying! One of my last room mates was sooooo irritating with makeup, she would try to get away with "not really wearing any" makeup, but I would sit there and constantly try to fix her face. She would have the noticeable ring of foundation (in the wrong color) around her face and terribly heavy bronzer which I would always try to sit there and blend in. Her makeup worked well when she had photo shoots, but it looked ridiculous in person! Or I would wear "yeah my eyelashes are naturally like this!" after I'd watch her meticulously put on mascara. Granted, she was a model so she was pretty, but she just kept trying to get away with wearing tons of makeup and saying she wasn't wearing a stitch of it. Also, she posts soooo many pictures of herself on her instagram or facebook or whatever titled "not wearing any makeup, just woke up!!!"and she obviously has on a full face of "natural" makeup. Oh pleaaassseee
