Try using aloe vera, it's very soothing for any kind of burn.

Have you introduced anything new to your skin over the past month? Your dermo is going to ask you that so be sure to either bring the possible offenders or bring a complete list. When I saw your post I immeditely thought about my last horrible reaction to some facial wipes. A preservative was what caused my irritation (skin felt like it was on fire even hours later). Hope the doc is able to pin-point the issue for you.

Milk is great for that. get a warm clean cloth dip it in milk and lightly pad it to your face. I have sensitive skin too this is my go-to thing, you can also use milk as a daily cleanser its very good it cleans out your pores and soothes irritated skin and reduces redness. Oats are super good too soak them in water for 10 min then drain the water and apply the oats with with honey to your face.

Sometimes you can develop an allergy to something you have never had issues with before, so don't discount the sunscreen.

All I can recommend is seeing a dermatologist. Sorry you're going through this. Skin is such a fickle thing. :/

I agree with seeing the derm it could be an allergic cosmetic reaction n if so you will need to stop using all cosmetics altogether (including moisturizer and anything else you put on your face that will stay on all day) so see the derm n see what they say.
