I heard using really hot water on a cloth and then holding it over the area for 20 seconds then relaxing and then repeating a few minutes later

I would recommend crushing aspirin and mixing it with water till it becomes a paste and put it on the pimple. That works wonders for me!

Try ice or just put some olive oil on the pimple.
