I think that more people focus on how society puts out what beauty should be, look like, wear and act like that we forget that what really is beauty is what lies within.

Of course it lies within! The people who just go off what other people say is what we call " fake" just because they'll change their look completely based on what someone said the day before and then they change their look completely again the next day because someone said they didn't look good the day before.
Beauty always and always will lie within the fashion industry manipulates the point of view sometimes so that girls will feel bad and buy more stuff of their brand. Usually if you don't love yourself you're more willing to participate in " conforming " yourself with what people tell you you should look like which Is why I believe the young girls of this generation needs to know that if they Are beautiful to themselves that's all that really matters. Beauty is a mindset. Not a specific look. Beauty is YOU and what you are in the INSIDE. If you're beautiful on the inside and it shows up on the outside, therefore making you an all around gorgeous girl. What frustrates me is when girls try so hard to look like... I dunno... Someone else.. I wish every girl could find who they are on the inside and be that all the way through.

In my opinion, there is beauty in everything. I'm constantly amazed at how truly beautiful this world is, people included. There is beauty is weakness and in strength, and I can't think of one person that I will ever meet or have ever met that is not absolutely and breathtakingly gorgeous. If you're ever doubting your own beauty, just think about all the amazing things your body is doing right now. Your neurons are firing, your lungs are expanding, your heart is beating. Things you don't even think about that your body does naturally are happening, to keep you alive, and that's a beautiful thing. I know that's not the 'within' you meant, but I thought it was worth stating regardless. (:

Beauty lies within. I know so many pretty girls, but unfortunately I don't see them as that after a while due to their selfish and rude personalities. When someone has an unfortunate personality, their outer beauty doesn't matter any more.

I don't know. It's kind of hard to define. I don't want to quote a bunch of cliches. Beauty is not really in the eye of the beholder. We have so many standards of beauty that society has set up for us and many people use those standards as the norm and adjust it accordingly. To me, that's not having their own concept of beauty. Personally, I'm finding that true beauty has been around me the entire time and I just haven't been acknowledging it. Personally, I find beauty to be simply seeing God in things , from nature to presence to the people place in my life.

I believe that beauty is from your heart because you could be "pretty" on the outside but have an "ugly"inside, and the inside is what really counts:)
But I find it really annoying when people say " loose weight" to be pretty and you need to be skinny is to be beautiful when its actually kinda weird how
When people see for example a dog and you see it's rib cage and it looks like it hasn't eaten for days, its either animal abuse or it is malnourished or has not been taken care of but when people have there rib cages sticking out and don't eat for days somehow that's societies view of pretty... it's all kind of twisted.
I have always wanted to be skinny because my sister is naturally skinny and in my eyes I have always seen my sister as perfect but just like this year I realized that beauty is whatever you want it to be. it can be from the inside or outside but that's your personal choice and opinion. I think that everyone has there own thing about them that is beautiful
