I read an article about baking soda paste and how it helps control acne and skin breakouts. I decided to give it a try on small portion of my face and upon rinsing, I noticed that my skin got a lot cleaner and softer, also less oily. This is my first though so I'm not sure about the long term effect. Anybody here who has tried out this regimen and got some (positive or even negative) reactions?

Baking soda is abrasive and alters your skins natural pH. With continued use you'd be doing your skin more harm than good and irritations are likely to occur.

^ I've heard the same. Apparently the baking soda is too rough for your skin and causes microdermabrasion

Your skin is going to be dry soon. I use coconu oil for my acne problems
