I've had this medium auburn colour for like 2 years and have only recently thought about using it. Has anybody else used this dye? And would auburn look okay?

I haven't used it. However it looks natural and auburn suits almost anyone! I would try and sample and see how you like it! Ask hairdressers wether it would match you aswell!

My natural hair colour is strawberry blonde anyway. Just haven't been anywhere close to my natural colour in about 5 years haha, makes me nervous.

What kind of colour does it come out?

I have used that in the past! I have a medium brown base and this is a picture of my red hair. I was using a few different products at this point, but that Revlon Colorsilk in Medium Auburn 42 was one I was using a lot around the time my hair was this shade. So I'm not quite sure if that is exactly the product I used in this picture, but it yielded the same results as this picture of my hair.
Sorry I don't really have any clear pictures in good lighting with more of the hair showing  =(

Mine came out very similar to that! I'm buying a more vibrant dye though as it didn't come out as red as I'd hoped, more a brown red. Still a nice colour though!

Ah yes, its definitely not a very vibrant red, but pretty close to photo on the box (which I find is rarely the case with boxed dyes haha). Good luck on your hunt for a brighter red =)

Was a spur of the moment decision haha! But yes I'll enjoy hunting for the right colour :) I kinda like how this dye came out though, I like it A lot! Haha
