Anissa, I have prenatal pills, I heard those help but I didn't really see a difference in my hair but my nails look really great. Are there different pills that are supposed to help?

The easiest way to make your hair grow faster is to keep it healthy. Don't mistake me, the rate at which your hair grows is determined by genetics, and nothing you can do will make your hair grow faster than it naturally would at its healthiest.
First, trim your split ends. If you don't, they will keep splitting up the shaft and ruin even more of your hair.
Second, invest in a sulfate and sodium chloride free shampoo and conditioner (I like the L'oreal EverStrong), and a hair mask or deep conditioner (I like Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and the L'oreal Power Moisture Mask). In the shower, wash your hair first thing, shampoo only the roots and condition from your ears down. After that, apply your mask, focusing on the ends of your hair. Finger comb until you don't feel any knots, and then put your hair in a bun. Leave it that way for the rest of your shower, washing it out should be the last thing you do. I wash my hair around 3 times a week (with dry hair I can get away with it) and do the hair mask every time. If you need to wash your hair more than that, reduce your hair mask usage to 3 times :)
Third, in terms of heat protectors, I like the Tressemme and It's a 10 Leave in Plus Keratin. However, I advise you to cut out heat styling as much as possible.
That's my hair routine, my entire head is bleached and it is just as healthy as it was before I dyed it.

Caster oil, lee staffords growth treatment stuff, try to use less heat. I know some people say its important to get it cut regularly, but unless your hair is really damaged I think its pointless getting it cut if youre growing it. Worked for me anyway :)

Oh and I also wore it up in a bun or bobble a lot of the time, then when you eventually wear it down people are more likely to notice/say if your hair has grown!

Hannah W is 100% right. listen to her advice. & before anyone recommends Mane n Tail.. DON't USE IT! Lol. it's terrible for your hair & does NOT make it grow. it will make your hair very brittle & the wax in it just weighs your hair down. making you think it's grown. it's also not ph balanced for human hair.

Lol I hope so! there's been so many of these posts lately. I feel like I should make the same post everyday to tell people how to help their hair grow the right way!

You totally could :) honestly I feel like there needs to be ONE thread, with your routine, my routine and Kitty's routine, and just be done with it.
