Manuka honey! I use it when I get diabetic ulcers, it's 100% antibacterial so it's really good for healing and it doesn't sting.

I have horrible eczema. Try cortisone 10 for eczema. It comes in a red tube down the aisle with ointments. It works
Wonders for me and no sting. It will also take away the itch. Aquaphor never did much for me unless I used it on new tattoos! Also there's an anti itch cream I forget the name it just stops the itch and gives you time to heal

He apparently has severe eczema as my brother has. The Drs always give a prescription to treat it...is he using his prescription accordingly? Also, it appears that it is spreading all over he has to stop itching it and I have eczema as well so I know how bad he wants to itch it but that only spreads n worsens it. Also is he using fragrance free and dye free products to include detergents, bath soaps/bodywash, lotions, etc? he should, as using "regular" everyday products will irritate it even more.
You can't get rid of eczema but you can control it to the point where people can't even tell you have it. He has to allow it to heal and take care of it so that he is no longer experiences discomfort n pain. Poor care of eczema can lead to really bad infections and a leather-like feel and appearance of the skin. Its so not worth it.

My ears were just like that when I was younger. My dad used to get garlic gel caps for it. He would open them and rub the garlic on my ears with a qtip. Worked every time!

Ok I would inquire on a milder form of the prescription if available for his delicate skin.
*Heal first
*Use "eczema friendly" products after healing.
