I know what you mean with being busy and all believe I am too and I don't always have the time to brush my babies but what I manage to do to keep their hairs off my clothes is this sticky roll thing that you swipe over clothes and it takes off all the hair, I always have one next to the door and use it before going out so maybe try that
I'm sorry am not much help but unfortunately I havent figured out how to keep their hair away it seems to be in the air really
Here's a picture of the tool you can get at any department store I think
