So mum is going to London in April and I wanted her to pick up some things from me there since I can't go. Where are some great places in London she can go for clothes, jewlerly and make up. I tend to dress rocker/normal if that makes sense lol

I used to do a lot of shopping/thrifting in Soho and Covent Garden on my lunch break at school, they had some excellent shops! For higher end shopping I spent a lot of time on Old Bond Street, Conduit Street (for the Vivienne Westwood shops), and around Knightsbridge specifically at Harvey Nichols and Harrods. They had some great high end thrift shops around the corner from my apartment on either Goswell Rd or St. John's St right by the Angel tube station. Big shops like Selfridge's and Topshop (anything aroudn Oxford Circus/Regent Street) are always great too! You can NEVER go wrong with Camden Market or the Portobello Road Market out in Notting Hill. UGH I miss shopping in London soooooo much! I haven't lived there for about 8-9 years now, so I'm sure a lot has changed and there are probably loads of places that have popped up since there. But every shop, street, or area I mentioned is worth a look!

My pleasure, Janet! I'm in the middle of moving this week, but I just saw a bunch of post cards and shop flyers from my time in London when I was packing up some boxes a few days ago, so I'll let you know if I find anything that I left out when I unpack! =)

Primark, New Look and Next are my favourite for bargain deals I used to go there all the time when I lived in the UK. I also love oasis, miss selfridge, warehouse, bank and Office for shoes. :)

I live in the UK some shops:
clothing: new look, primark, top shop, h&m, superdry,forever 21and Hollister.
makeup: superdrug, boots, Selfridge and Mac
Some other shops are bank, catch kidson, assesorize, Claire's, perfume shop.
All these shops are online so you can have a look hope I helped! ;)

For makeup you need to ask your mum to get you some sleek blush/eyeshadow palletes. They're really pigmented and inexpensive, I love them. They're sold mainly in Superdrug over here.
