Haha. @Mariana, I'm trying to take my own advice so I feel you.. ;-)
I eat pretty decent but I need to cut out soda all together. I don't drink it everyday but need not drink it at all.

I'm 32. I hafta say that I agree with everything said so far. We have some lovely ladies here👏. Now I'm I wear way less makeup and do a lot of skin care. I have noticed that powder foundations no longer look as good without moisturizer. So I've switched to bb creams and tm. I've also noticed that acne product don't do much but overdry my skin now. I've also had to step up on my alpha hydroxy acids and use more frequently. I'm also starting to use retinol and I'm liking the results. My super oily skin is now just oily and I have to pile on moisturizer to keep that under control. I only used eye cream in my 20s. I love anti aging serums. I haven't found a Miracle cure for puffy eyes but it seems to be related to how much sugar and salt I eat. It's hard but I'm working on it. I just love cake😂🍰lol. I want to try out more collagen products.

I did some changing late thirties mostly with skin care and now @ 42 I've changed makeup and application of it. Skin care now has retinoids, hycicillic acid sp? coq10, peptides etc..I use a cream foundation or CC Cream and concealing undereye is a completely different ballgame! Wanting to draw the eye up my brows are more defined and arched, not severely but it really made a difference. Luminizing anything I love because dry or matte to me now looks old..my lipgloss is permanently attached to my lips.

@Mariana...yep..Feb 2 and I can't wait!! I'm looking forward to turning 40 and a lot of it has to do with some of the adversity I faced. I shouldn't even be here chatting away but I made it so I'm going to act like a complete nut on my big day. I'm real big on skincare and eating healthy to maintain my most important organ (my skin). I can't believe Traci is 43!! Guuurrllll you look GOOD. Just flawless.

All you ladies look great. I'm 37 years old exfoliating & moisturizing & I swear by coconut oil & even baby oil just love the way it makes my skin feel especially bc I have combination skin & some areas are dry.. I have also been using shiseido creams pricey but good it has helped revitalize my skin a bit..

I like mixing a touch of my NARS illuminator in my foundation for a brighter fresher look. I really don't believe in younger/older makeup products but as Shelley said sometimes its all in how we can apply it to make a difference. Also what the other ladies said, exfoliate, moisturize, and spf. Definitely pay attention to our eyes as they will give away our age fast...lol!

Mistreece, that nars illuminator idea is a nice touch.. I'm going to do that. I got the new pink one. its my first. I'm going to play around with it.

I agree with Traci. I think that good skin care is key to good makeup application. I'm 40 & I have had to adjust my skin care routine.

I've been putting Retin A on my skin for years. I have pretty oily skin still so generally it doesn't make it too dry. I got microdermabrasion recently and my skin looked pretty good after. To be completely honest, I do use injections and fillers already here and there. I've never had an issue with that kind of thing and the lines/bags around my eyes were getting horrendous. They were seriously aging me. It's a hard habit to break as the results are amazing though.

I feel all of you ladies, I am 33 and my stubborn a$$ is just now realizing I need to start figuring out what to do with my skin. It is dull and signs if aging have gotten worse recently. I feel like I'm looking at a different person in the mirror, I've have to get my glow back.

The dark colors around your eyes arent doing you any justice and making you look older. Lighten things up a bit the lip color is nice.

I'm 36 and defiantly feel it ugh and see it. I have to stay away from heavier powder and foundation. it just ends up looking horrible. I agree w the othe gals, good skin care makes a huge difference. since getting into a good routine and incorporating more then just retin-a I do see a difference. I'm still looking for the next best thing though lol

I'm 36 and been using YSL touché éclat foundation for daytime as it makes my skin look younger but not like an oil slick x

Naomi n Traci...yes I started mixing mine close to a year now and love it! You only need about half a dime sized amount:-) I use Nars Orgasm by the way, I have tried any others yet.

Are you using the one in the tube like this mistreece?

Jan 22, 2014

Naomi S.

Its funny because the illuminator I have from way back is VS very sexy line..it says to put a little in your foundation. ons of those things I said I'd get to and just never did.

Traci that would look pretty with your foundation. just a hair as not to look too shimmery
