Okay so every time I try a winged liner I open my eyes to find it just looks like a thick line with a point. & my other problem is I can never get both eyes looking similar of that makes sense...any suggestions will help.

I have the same issue. I still haven't been able to get it down perfectly, but I always do my wing with my eyes open, so I can adjust it according to my actual eye shape.

I have the same problem! I agree with Haley; keep your eyes open and look straight ahead while you draw the wing. Here is a video that helped me a lot: bit.ly/1iAFKO4.

Ill try that! lol I have the same issue with my eyeshadow & opening them helps even it out
