A shade darker? after I bleached my hair and roots I put coconut oil into my hair and left it in for an hour or so and after I washed it out and let it dry, its like it just wiped out all the blonde I had bleached in my hair!! it turned into an orange blonde with the coconut!...can some help me figure this out please? I really want to use oil but I also want to keep my hair blonde! ):

Did you use it right after bleaching? It may have more to do with washing it than the coconut oil if that's the case. If it was a few days after bleaching it or whatever, then I'm stumped. Lol.

It's because of the colour of the oil itself, I've heard you're supposed to put it in the night before and then bleach your hair to minimise damage instead of afterwards of it'll change the colour. Maybe look for a lighter oil, almond oil for example.
