What are the pros and cons of big velcro hair rollers? when I say big I mean 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter. I have long hair that reaches my hips and I want to get big loose waves. can you please tell me what you like about them and if you have any tips or tricks on how to use them please leave a comment! :)

Rollers that big are ideal for creating volume, but they won't be very good for much else. Try getting a size or two down if you want waves :)

Rollers that size, like Brittany said, are mostly to create volume. If you're hair is that long, they could be used for curl. Just take bigger sections. You won't get them with your hair dry though. with your hair damp, Take sections about 2inches wide, and put the rollers in your hair. Use a diffuser on your blow dryer and gently blow air on them for about 5 minutes, let it rest, repeat until hair is dry. Remember to really watch because the outside hair could be dry while the hair inside against the roller could still be damp. Layers would help a lot too, to help create volume and better looking curls. I suggest maybe using a mouse, or a curl serum on your mid shaft and ends, and a root boost on your roots for volume. I'd then take the rollers out, and before doing anything to it, turn your hair head upside down and use a diffuser to blow dry the roots (Adds extra volume). Also, when taking the rollers out, don't pull them out as it'll make the curl fuzzy, you'll have to unroll the hair, with less tension as possible. Hope that helps.
