Does SPF foundation have to do with white faces in pictures?

I was reading a thread on here about modeling headshots, and some people said wearing SPF foundation causes flashback on camera. Is that true? I've heard that before, but it doesn't make sense. Thanks :)

Yes, I feel it is true.
SPF brings more of a shine onto the face. Like if you put sunblock or sunscreen on it makes a shine. So the flash tends to shine off of it.

Like it's a little bit of a shine but it is enough to make a difference. It's not the much of a deal unless you doing a important photo shoot to something like that. Sometimes some people are going for the little bit of a more reflected light look.

Mm I believe most that have SPF also have an ingredient that can cause it, but it's not the SPF specifically.
I know that some translucent powders can do that.
Which is how you get this

I really don't think so. I've used it in pics and I have no white glow. I think its a myth... as long as your makeup is applied well.

The titanium dioxide in spf absorbs the suns rays.. so you don't absorb them into your skin.. I don't think its reflects them.
