How to do fishtail.

I have so much trouble doing fishtail braids it always looks like a big clump of hair when I'm done.Do any of you beauties know how to accomplish an easy fishtail?? Thnx

I think the secret is small strands of hair. The smaller the strand if hair you cross over every time the more of a fish tail effect it will have. It takes some patience but is easy enough once you get the hang of it. Good luck:)

When I do a fishtail braid I take each small strand over and under, the easiest way is to watch a video tutorial, I needed to physically see how the basis was being done, in order to get it down packed. Keep trying and don't give up, you'll have it accomplished in no time!! :-)
