I leave it on for an hour before I wash my hair or sometimes overnight then wash. It doesn't leave my hair greasy but my hair is extremely dry.

My hair is oily and I just rub the coconut oil between my hands massage my scalp with oils not excessively just enough like a serum. Then I soak my ends in it and rub it in even on the middle part of hair. Then I put a scarf over my head and leave it in over night. In the morning I wash off with shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels healthy and smooth and not greasy. I do it every other day.

I use it as a hair mask. I mix a good scoop of coconut oil and 1 egg. make sure the oil is melted and mix the two together and rub it all over my hair and let it sit for 15 minutes and I wash it off (I shampoo twice to get rid of everything) also I use it as a hair serum. I use a very small pea size, rub it in my hands and run my hands through my ends and the rest near the roots.
also as a body/face mousturizer! just make sure you don't use too much because it can get greasy :)

Coconut oil is amazingggg... Just not on my hair lol I don't know why, but I put it in as a treatment on my hair and it left me with dry hair lol.
Use coconut oil on your lashes, it's the best to remove all eye make up and stubborn mascara! But be careful not to get it in your eye.. It's so annoying, my vision blurs for a few mins :/
