Congratulations! It always excites me to know there are badass women out there! I'd just play with your best features. Use naked colors. Don't over do liner.

If you need it, a foundation or concealer. Then I would just do a little eye makeup. Mascara, eyeliner, and maybe a little eye shadow that is a natural color.
There are different ways to do eyeliner. I wouldn't go with the bold stuff if I were you though and nothing dramatic. Also I think what I do with my makeup would work too. (Profile picture if you want to see)

Congratulations! As a former military wife, I can attest to seeing many women in the military rock a "natural but better" makeup look.
Take good care of your skin since that's your canvas, then go with a tinted moisturizer or BB cream. Mascara and an eye shadow that enhances your eye color, I'd keep it to two colors max at a time. I'd even line with shadow for a softer look, especially for the lower eye. A light coat of mascara (dark brown even). A light cream blush and tinted lip balm or a cheek and lip tint and you're good to go.

I'm guessing that gym or PT will be involved, so if you need foundation, bb or concealer, don't forget setting spray.
My recommendations-
Blink amplified mascara
Make up forever full coverage concealer
Under eye concealer for late nights, Lancôme makes a great one, and Laura mercier makes one that's thicker but more orange tented for dark circle correction
Nars translucent powder-pressed
Blush-nars orgasm or
benefit rockateur, they are extremely hard to overdue, even when rushed.
skindinavia setting sprays, although they are hard to find in stores. urban decay spray is then next best and easer to find.
Foundation is tricky-easy to overdue, hard not be obvious and time consuming. I would avoid
Stay with one shade of eyeshadow, matt brown. Get primer to keep in place. Urban decay has some that will give your shadow some oomph like eve and sin, but original is a fan favorite
