Well how are you doing your sock bun? the only way I know is starting at the end of your hair & rolling towards your head. so I'm confused about how you have any hair leftover?

You can try to keep rolling the bun to put the hair in it might look messy but cute.

Split your hair in half and make the bun with the top half then braid or twist the bottom half and wrap around the bun. make sure the bun is finished and secured or it will elevate it from your head.
