I've been using mostly cover girl products. I love their mascara. But I'm in desperate need of a good concealer cuz theirs sucks. I want something better quality. I can't even use mine under my eyes anymore cuz it looks all dry and cracks and stuff. I was wondering what's a really good concealer? And what's the difference between concealer and highlighter? Do you use one or the other or both? I love how people have that white in the corner of the eye but I don't know what it is.

Also, do you guys prefer liquid foundation or bb cream? And do I need primer with foundation? I want my skin to glow but it just doesn't. Maybe it's because I'm using cover girl.

Also, Korres lip butter. Is it really moisturizing? I use Carmex. My lips are ALWAYS dry though. I need extra hydration.

Rimmel match perfection is a great concealer for me. A concealer conceals and lightens up the area under your eyes, minimizing the effect of dark circles and a highlighter is used to brighten up and "highlight" points on your face. To get that white effect people highlight their inner corners with a white eyeshadow, you can find a nice white mineral eyeshadow at the drugstore. I use makeup forever star powder in white to highlight my inner corners. Eos is a great lip balm and so is nivea.

Thank you!! I'm going to try that concealer, and probably the EOS lip stuff. That helps a lot :) I thought I was going to have to spend a ton of money lol.

Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer. I use maybelline age rewind under eye concealer. bb cream or foundation? depends on how much coverage you need. & a tip.. maybelline has the best mascaras :)

Hey Amy! I would definitely recommend Hard Candy's "Glamoflauge" concealer! Let me just tell you, it does wonders! It is really thick, so you need a tiny bit. It is only a few bucks and lasts for such a long time! It is a really great concealer! The difference between concealer and highlighter is that concealer is used to conceal spots or imperfections on your face. It should be identical to the shade of your face. Highlighter is used to highlight your skin. Highlighter is usually used on your eyebrow brow and cheek bones. It gives it a nice light shimmery look. Highlighter is suppose to be lighter than your skin tone. I use concealer just when I have a blemish or imperfection. I wear a bit of highlighter everyday, just to make my cheekbones stand out a little more. :) as for bb cream and liquid foundation. I personally use a liquid foundation. I use revlon color stay and I love it! I think that liquid foundation gives your more coverage. If you want a light coverage, BB creams are great! I wear BB cream if I want a more natural look. Also, I would recommend ELF face primers! They have one that is supposed to brighten your face up! I have dry skin so I got the hydrating primer and I love it! Face primer just really smooths out your face. It helps so your foundation doesn't stick to dry patches of skin and just gives yours foundation a more flawless look. As for EOS.. it gets very mixed reviews. it looks like it only works well for you if your lips are already in good condition. a lot of people said it was really waxy :/ I love nivea & blistex for my lips.

I use a highlighter but I don't use concealer, I've just felt like I never needed it, I use a white eyeliner in the corner of my eye then put eyeshadow over it and it works nicely for me, I prefer liquid foundation over bb cream because I feel like it has more coverage and I have acne scars. I use a primer, but it doesn't make my skin glow, I use a highlight to make my skin glow and also my face wash helps a lot with making my skin glow, I use aquaphor on my lips and it works great for me.
