I mark February as the start of prom season. The ads come out, dresses go on the racks. It's so exciting.
What's your prom theme? Your dream dress? Photos from your old prom? I'm especially curious hair and makeup!
My prom's theme is "The Great Gatsby" I've decided I want a long sleeve dress (it's different plus I feel like I could possibly wear it again one day.)

I honestly don't remember if my proms even had a theme. I wore the same dress to both (couldn't afford two and don't see the sense in it anyway if the first one still fits). I did my own makeup, wore my hair curled, and painted my fingernails to match my boyfriend's pocket square and tie. :)

My prom is only in spring. In may. That is awkward.

Last year my prom theme was "a night in Paris". Our theme this year was actually going to be the great gatsby as well, but it got changed to "galaxy". I'm going all out this year bc it's my senior prom and I'm so excited! I already have my dress and I still need to figure out hair, makeup, and nails!

Ohmygosh Kalynn that is the cutest and most unique theme I've ever seen.
The themes on the ballot were Mardi Gras, Gatsby and Alice in Wonderland.
Our prom is pretty early this year (April 26) as opposed to the typical May. I'm super excited because it's exactly one week after my 18th birthday. Hellooooo club after parties.

Emily I totally get what you mean. I didn't even go to my junior prom because of piss poor planning on my part, and I really couldn't afford it at all. At the time I decided I wanted to go which was basically two weeks beforehand, tickets were $60 plus I didn't have a dress or anything. I'm definitely going all out too, Brooke! Seniors class of 2014!
