Kat Von D or Illamasqua Skinbase for foundation?

I've got oily skin and some acne spots. I currently use Revlon Colorstay but feel it's too heavy on the skin. which of the two would you suggest I buy?

Well, Kat Von D is a great full coverage foundation for oily skin. I had bought it a couple months ago but with winter, my skin gets so dry (I'm oily during the summer) so I can't use it right now because it is definitely a matte finish.

hmmm, I would want a demi-matte finish and not overly matte. thanks for the info girls.

I feel matte tends to look flat and too dry. What other foundations have you tried. it's my first time buying a non-drugstore foundation other than MAC (which breaks me out), and I don't want to waste my money.

I have the Laura Mercier Silk foundation, which everyone raves about- but didn't work for me. MUFE HD foundation which I do love. I actually really love the Avon Ideal Flawless foundation. I dropped mine and just ordered 2. But I also love the Revlon CS! I've also tried the Teint Idole which I liked. I am dying to try the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation which is full coverage.

If you think Colorstay is too heavy, you will not like the Kat Von D foundation. IMO, it's an even fuller coverage.

wow! thanks Yesenia and Shelly. I was thinking of the the Teint Idole Ultra as well... and I love Tarte so that might be another option.... now I'm confused.

I know!! In the summer my skin is oily and in the winter it's dry! So I love trying new foundations!! I love so many lol
