I've been doing the no heat thing for awhile & I been wanting to find something new besides braiding. Any suggestions?

Try doing multiple braids, or twist your hair and clip them on top of you head so they don't bother you ass you sleep

I'm in that same predictament. Sometimes I make two really loose braids, I'm not trying to create waves, just trying to smooth & lessen the frizz without brushing. After I braid, I lightly smooth on some moroccan oil (you could substitute the oil with an shine spray or anti frizz spray) then I lightly spritz on a light hold hairspray. When I take the braids out & finger style, I then make 2 small braids on either side of my face to keep flyaways out of my face.

Or sometimes I only braid the top layers if my hair all around my head, so there are waves sitting in obviously straighter hair, then I stick a thin plastic hairband in my hair. But I don't use it to push my hair off my face. Its more of a decorative accessory to create a visual seperation in my hair and to add interest & more of a done look.

I put my hair in a half ponytail.. I wake up and only have to curl a few strands, works perfectly.
