It would be so easy to teach you if I were there. But follow what the videos say to curl with a straightener but take it really slow and make sure that all the hair that you are curling with it is in the heated part.

I have thick hair to
And I make sure that my hair straitener is on one of its highest settings and you just take small sections and take your straightener from The top of the hair and a twist it away from your face to the bottom and then hairspray it

Being slow is the key to getting the curl.

When you curl it with a straigntner you should move your straigntner very slowly and a bit faster on the tips. Then put hair spray. That's what I do since my hair is really really really thick.

Take thinner strands of your hair. Once you're at the end of a strand, roll the straightener back up the strand and hold for 5-7 seconds, then release.

1.) wash your hair. I use the wen products. but it really doesn't matter
2.) apply a heat protectant. I use silk elements heat protectant.
3.) blow dry well
4.) flat iron
ok to achieve the curl you can use the flat iron if you like. when you take a piece of hair and get about to the middle flip the flat iron of which way you would like the curl and twist down in that direction. this always works for me. hope this helps. this pic was a year ago of me.
