Honestly the top looks totally fine it's under your eye that looks like it has a lot of fallout. Try just using makeup remover to clean that up :)

I feel the same way :( it depends what you want to clean up, if you want straight edges try using tape as quide lines and concealer on the bottom afterwards. If you want a less muddy look and separation between your colours try a better primer and maybe even new eyeshadows, also make sure the shadows themselves have complimenting undertones to avoid the muddy look.

Put tape on the areas where you don't want any eyeshadow on, then gently peel it off and it would look very clean! I saw a beauty guru do this on YouTube.

Clean makeup to me in my opion is only wearing a great amount of coverage foundation, a really light pink blush, blend it in well so you can barely see IT, black top eyeliner and bottom, mascara.. I feel like dark shadows arnt going to look clean, but some lighter colors well, like a goldish brown or a baby pink color. hope this helps, and makes sense.. ugh I wish I had pictures

Thank you all so much I will definitely use your advice and yes I use elfs eye primer and I think I will try to put my foundation on after my eye makeup so I can really be precise and clean it with a makeup remover cloth and I know what you mean Diana and after this pic I have started to use tape for my eyeliner because I can't quite wing it yet

Brianna I had this problem I still do but its not as bad as it was in the beginning lol... I've learned that in order to have your makeup looking neat one of the most important things you need is TIME and the right brushes this will make a huge difference

Thank you and I use the coastal scents elite brush set and some of the coastal scents single brushes I love them
