I find it almost impossible to draw a cat's eye neatly. It is because of the creases and some wrinkles I believe where I would draw the line...or is it possible some eyes just don't accommodate a cat's eye?

What are you using to draw with? I find gel liner easier to work with than pencil.

Sometimes the winged liner jusr looks funky in some styles on certain eyes. like mine for example only look ok if I put the wing straight out rather than up like a usual wing.

I use liquid eyeliner. I dare it on straight but then it gets all scrunched up.

I know exactly what you mean I have the same problem especially with liquid. All I can say its wrinkles and it looks less obvious with gel liner.

I have a hooded eye and have had the same problem. However I've noticed that the line I draw going up when my face is relaxed and I'm looking forward would necessarily cover a part of my "hood" hahahahah! So I extend it a bit and then fill in any funky spaces and curviness

My suggestion is to pull your eyelid taught vas then draw on the liquid liner. When you let go it will look rough (as you said). Lean in close to the mirror and then with your eyes open, and looking down, chin up, carefully trace over the line to smooth it out. Rather than draw a thick wing, with your eye open try a thinner flick. I always rest my arm on the dresser for more control too. Just experiment on a day you're not going out vas have time to play and mess up a few times.

Try using a piece of tape as a guide. yes, it sounds a little weird :) get scotch tape and stick it to your arm first to take away some of the stickiness so it won't hurt your face. use this as a guide. also adding a little bit of dark shadow along the line willl help hide any squiggles :) I can't do mine any other way since I started this technique!
