Sooooo, I just went to the Sephora web site to reorder my HG foundation which is the Kat VonD Lock It liquid in light 42, only to find out that they have discontinued the color!! Oooohhhh I am so heated right now. I called the 2 Sephoras within driving distance of me to find out if they have any left in stock AND they don't. My heart is broken. I LOVE this foundation and the color is perfect (too light when I first put it on but after oxidation it is perfect). I have enough left for about 2 weeks of use but that is not enough time to test and find a new foundation. I don't even know where to start. Bummed.

I'm so sorry Marcy! That is very heartbreaking. Have you tried the Estee Lauder double wear yet? I really love that foundation and I think they come in a good range of colors plus the sample you get to try it out allows for several applications. I hope you find a new one soon.

That's the worst! maybe amazon or eBay would have it. I don't know if its true but I've heard cover girls 3 in 1 is similer to it. I haven't tried the cg so can't compair

The covergirl is good but not close. And the colors are too dark for me.
Lindsay, I will check out Face Atelier. I have heard some good things about them.
Grace, I am so upset for you. It is hard to find a good foundation in a shade that light.

Ps- I think one of the things Estée Lauder says is that the double wear foundation doesn't oxidize. And mine doesn't. So make sure you get an exact match.

I went after Christmas to get a color match for the double wear and they don't have a color that matches me. My sister wears it and it looks so good on her. I have tried nars sheer glow and sheer matte and I absolutely hate them. I was checkingnout illamasqua today online and saw tbat you can order a white foundation to lighten. That would be great. I love mac face and body but they only sell their white to professionals and that seriously irritates me. I can't find a pro to buy me one.

Jacqueline recommended me Bobbi Brown foundation. I bought it after the clerk put it on me for a demo. It is absolutely awesome. you should check it out!

Go to sephora and get some samples. They're very generous. Don't make a commitment to a new foundation just yet. Try Dior skin nude and Givenchy they're both good and while they don't have as heavy coverage out of the bottle are buildable.
