Hi girls!
just wanted to release myself from trying to accept that I have pimples and stuff.
I hate acne and I wish I hadn't to fight everyday to have clear skin:(
I know I'm not the only one that feels this way, even when my skin its not that bad still makes me feel insecure sometimes

Ana, I feel your pain. I used to have HORRIFIC acne , in fifth and sixth grade, and as of that wasn't bad enough, I didn't have eyelashes or eyebrows and I was heavily bullied. The thing is, everyone has flaws. Have you ever seen some pictures of celebrities sans makeup? They have acne too.

I know how you feel, sweetheart. I am the same. I started to break out in 5th grade and it only got worse. On my face, chest, back, even some on my neck. It was so bad. I even got the ones that hurt when anything touched them. I couldn't let the water from the shower hit them and even laying down on my back hurt at times. I had to get antibiotics and a cream prescribed to me by my doctor. The medicine wasn't fun but I got better and stopped taking it. I still get acne from time to time and I have to be very cautious with products that I use because when I break out, it's BAD. It gets better though. Don't worry :)

Sorry , accidentally clicked send! But seriously. We all get acne once in a while, some more than others. But all we can really do is take care of our skin, and accept that it isn't going to be as perfect as in the magazines!

Omg you're not alone. There's many girls who have acne & feel this way too :/ when I had acne it wasn't even bad it was nothing compared to other people's & I felt so insecure. & ugly because my friends had flawless skins & I didn't. But don't feel that way! There's many more qualities in you than just perfect skin. I mean yes people look at your face but sometimes WE ARE OUR OWN WORST CRITICS, sometimes they can't even tell, or think "omg her eyes are stunning" or "her hair is so beautiful" not just "ew she doesn't have a flawless face" just saying, guys had more crushes on me than on my friends with flawless skin lol so that says everything!! skin is not everything honey!!:) so please looking at your pictures I see a young beautiful lady!! Boost up that confidence & don't feel bad because you have acne feel beautiful because EVEN with acne people see the gorgeous girl you are :D & if they can't..they're the ugly ones not you :-) xx

Omg. I am going thru the same thing as a twenty six year old adult and it isn't getting any better. I've tried every product (Clean and clear, nutrogena, clearasil, Proactiv and even some natural products. NOTHING has worked. I've come to the conclusion that I may.have bad skin forever. my only option is a dermatologist and that can be costly. I feel your pain. I understand the insecurity and envy of those who don't have not one spot on their face.

Aww I get angry to I had flawless skin then bam acne I hate it. And just like @Tamara I have used the same as you except nutrogena. But @Ana this is something that will pass, you don't see 80's with acne do you? Be yourself beauty isn't everything. And if you don't feel beautiful, you are everyone is.

I completely understand you Ana, I've had acne since 6th grade and am currently in 10th and I have constantly been bullied because of it. It makes me hate myself honestly because I have this image of perfection that I wish to be, makeup has been my only help. It doesn't cover the bumps or pimples but it makes me feel beautiful, just hang in there it'll get better!

I don't know anyone who 'loves' acne... It is awful and mines not even that bad, well not anymore. I had always had porcelain skin with a few spots every once and a while, but two years ago I got really sick (complicated to explain, not just the regular cold sick, severe chronic migraines and neck pain) and it was stressing me out being sick so much that my skin started to look horrible which just made the situation that I was dealing with even worse. I went to the dermatologist multiple times and it did nothing. I was beginning to feel hopeless and I was so self conscience because I had always had great skin. I began taking medicine (birth control to help with migraines and cramps) and it helped clear up my skin. But one of the best thing was getting a Clarisonic, it really helped my skin. Now I wouldn't say it cleared my acne (when my health got better, then so did my skin) but it did significantly help improve my skin. Now I only get a pimple here and there due to hormones but thats it. So I would highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Also if you are using drugstore miracle clear skin cleansers I would try something else like from Sephora... I know it sucks and is embarrassing but you are not the only one who suffers from this problem. As far as taking care of skin, always always always wash your face at night and get rid of that makeup. I can't tell you how many times I have been sick/tired but I still remove my makeup and wash my face, like seriously don't even go just one time without washing at nighttime. Also try reading reviews on acne products before buying (makeupalley is great for reviews) that stuff is expensive, you don't wanna waste your money. Try a toner after washing face and right before moisturizing. Make sure you also wash your face in the morning, think about all the bacteria on your pillow that you slept on (make sure to change often to help reduce acne/bacteria). Try vitamins like Biotin. Lush Cosmetics is also has really great products you should check out. Don't worry hun, your skin will get better, and remember you are not alone on this issue.

Thank you so much Lisa! I actually do many things trying to fix the problem; I wash my face 2-3 times a day with a gentle gel cleanser (its very hot here, not even warm, hot) and apply moisturizer twice a day, toner at night followed by benzac 5%, and I also take birth pills for my period cramps and they help me with the breakouts. also I do once a week a cucumber mask and a active carbon mask (I don't know how to write it) and exfoliate with some sugar too
